CREATING YOUR OWN COLD PROCESS SOAP RECIPE course

where: the curated, altstetterstrasse 138, 8048 zürich (opposite of La Taqueria) 

when: saturday 10:00-14:00

level: intermediate (some basic knowledge of CP soaps are highly recommended)

max no. of participants: 5

in this workshop you will learn:

• the elements of a cold process soap recipe
• the role of different oils/butters in your formula
• the basics of oils, fatty acids and saponification
• how to create your own cold process soap recipe
• how to use the soapcalc software to calculate lye amounts
• how to trouble shoot problems with your recipe

In the workshop, each participant will create their own fully customized 1.3kg soap loaf (13 soap bars). the soaps will dry a couple of days at our studio and will be sent to you by post / you can pick them up afterwards.

after the workshop you will receive a link to all the documentation as well.

the workshop will be held in german, english or bilingual, depending on group preference.
