BASIC SCENTED SOY WAX CANDLE making (you can bring your own jars as well!)

Do you have candle jars at home that are too nice to throw out? Do you want to just make scented candles without schnick-schnack? Book an evening session and fill your candles jars at wholesale price! 

where: the curated, altstetterstrasse 138, 8048 zürich (opposite of La Taqueria) 

when: thursday 18:00-20:00, pickup of candles on friday 

max. no of participants: 5

what you can expect:

• you can bring your own candle vessel(s) and you can refill them with soy wax

• we have some basic (amber / transparent glass, small metal jars) and some funky recycled jars to fill up if you don't have your own ones

• you can choose your scent (we have roughly 60 different certified fragrance oils), color and you get of course the suitable candle wick as well

• you pay a base fee for use of equipment and help (30 CHF) & then you pay per candle on site (only card or twint accepted!):

  • up to 200g jar filling - 11 CHF
  • up to 350g jar filling - 13 CHF 
  • up to 500g jar filling - 16 CHF
  • jars cost 3-5 CHF on site (or you bring your own one for free :))

so if you want to make three medium sized candles and you have the jars, it would cost you 30+3*13 CHF = 69 CHF --> 23 CHF per candle.

if you want to do 5 medium sized candles and you have the jars, it would cost you 30+5*13 CHF = 95 CHF --> 19 CHF per candle

usually you would have time for up to 10 candles in the 2 hours.

The candles will dry overnight and you can pick them up on Friday from 4 pm till 8 pm. If you want us to send them to you per post, the postage is 9.90 CHF extra. 

the workshop will be held in german, english or bilingual, depending on group preference.

DISCLAIMER:

if you cancel up to 48 hours before the day of the workshop, you will receive a 100% refund. after 48h there is no refund of the basic 30 CHF fee.
